Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using LinterMan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Service description

LinterMan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The service analyzes your Postman collections and provides recommendations to improve their quality. It is your responsibility to review and validate any suggested changes before using them in production.

3. Your responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for the content of the collections you analyze locally in your browser.
• You must not use LinterMan to store or process illegal content or personal data beyond what is necessary.
• You must comply with all applicable laws when using the service.

4. Intellectual property

The LinterMan codebase, design and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your own Postman collections and analysis results. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your collections for the purpose of providing the analysis features.

5. Fair use and limitations

We may impose reasonable limits on usage (for example, number of analyses per minute) to protect the stability of the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or attempt to disrupt its operation.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

While we aim to provide useful recommendations, we do not guarantee that analyses are error-free or that using LinterMan will prevent all issues in your APIs. You use the service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinterMan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability will be limited to the amounts you have paid for the service, if any, during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using LinterMan at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms of Use or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the service or other users.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you via email or within the application. Your continued use of LinterMan after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
